Dear Blondies, I have come into your establishment 3 times in a row now only to be denied service, not to mention I have been denied parking. I used to be a blondies regular until new ownership took over. The food isnt as good, the people arent as nice and it no longer feels like the beloved family restaurant I used to eat at every week. The hours are ridiculous now, as they close earlier than any other store in Sylvan Lake. I dont know if it is lack of employees or poor management but I will not be returning. Super disappointed and honestly kind of sad.
Servers are rude and unwelcoming. Food isnt as good as it once was and the hours are ridiculous, its always closed.
We walked in and were told to sit anywhere. There was a breakfast buffet that we looked at as we walked to our table, it looked wretched, dry pieces of unidentifiable meat, rubbery looking bacon, and premade eggs Benedict looking limp and haggard.We sat at our table for 10 mins and not one wait staff came up to us at all. Finally my husband went to another uncleared table and looked at the bill and saw that the buffet is $17/person.We ended up leaving without one person talking to us except the person at the start to tell us where to sit. We ate at Humptys instead.
Fruit salad contained 2 different fruits, not what was described. Was not given jam or ketchup with meals.... Scavanged from the many dirty tables around us. Many people walked out after walking in and seeing the state of the restaurant. Rating 1 star because nobody died.
We used to go to this restaurant all the time on bike rides. It sold last year I believe and it has really gone downhill. We were there today and they had fathers day brunch. Didnt have a great selection and food was cold and eggs benny were hard as rocks.
